Wednesday 7 – Friday 9 September (09:00 – 15:30)
Successful meetings and events are already incorporating a range of social media components and hybrid (virtual and real) event technologies. Industry leaders are racing ahead, exploiting opportunities for vastly improved ROI which didn’t exist only a few years ago.
If you are not a leader, you have to be a quick follower, or fall behind. The most sought after event management skill today is to master social media marketing and creating a digital event strategy.
Recent research shows that almost three-quarters of event organizers and corporate brand marketers plan to have digital media strategies in place for their events this year, while almost half already use virtual events. Digital media refers to online marketing in all its forms, including e-mail marketing, online ads, social media, online video, webcasts, podcasts, blogs, and virtual events.
Do you know how to:
- Extend the reach, duration and bottom line impact of your events by using social media?
- Connect and integrate remote attendees?
- Design event formats enabled by new media and technology?
- Track the Digital Footprint of your events
This is a hands-on learning lab about content creation, distribution and monetization strategies. Learn step-by-step digital marketing techniques and test bleeding-edge tools that you can readily use to enrich your event.
